You'll then have around 2 hours to discover Monet's house, workshop and gardens of a thousand colors.

Claude Monet lived in this Norman village with his entire family for over forty years. You can immerse yourself in Monet's daily life by visiting his house, which includes the "petit salon bleu", the reading room that opens onto the "épicerie", where tea, oil, spices and eggs were kept, the dining room, which exhibits one of the world's most important collections of Japanese prints, and his private apartments.

You can continue your visit with a stroll through the sumptuous gardens of Giverny, the main source of inspiration for this undisputed master of Impressionism. During your stroll, listen to your audio-guide's commentary on Monet's life, work and art.

You'll admire the central avenue surrounded by roses and nasturtiums, and flowerbeds of all kinds offering a wide palette of colors. You'll pass through the Clos Normand, where a variety of oriental plants have been planted.

You'll stroll through the magnificent water garden with its famous water lilies on the pond, weeping willows and the famous Japanese bridge that crosses the pond.
